This place never fails to impress!! We have gone multiple times for tacos, but recently went and ordered other items and they were SO good. We decided to try new items each time we go because we were all so impressed! The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back. Stopped in for lunch based on good reviews. The restaurant is cute and clean. They had a taco Tuesday special for 5.99....any tacos with any fillings. I got three street tacos one with Carnitas, Carne Asada and Al Pastor. They were all delicious served on double layered corn tortillas with onions and cilantro but the Carnitas was my favorite. I got an order of chips and salsa. The chips were very good. Tasted like they might be homemade. The salsa was very disappointing. It is very thin and the mild did not have much flavor. The hot was thin also and just OK in my opinion. Overall, the food was good. The staff was very friendly, the place was clean. The entire bill was just over $10 so I found it to be very reasonable. I would definitely recommend!

Food was authentic and amazing! They've also done a great job rehabbing this old BK. The line on Tuesday can build up but the team is efficient in moving it. They have a designated area for to go orders that free's up dining space for in store diners. I am a military wife who got addicted to the Taqueria chain in Killeen TX, Taco Rico leveled up!!!! I hate giving away Best Kept Secrets.

Excellent street carne asada tacos, crunchy tacos and authentic rice. Chips and salsa very good too!

Taco Rico is okay! Not the best Mexican food I've ever had. The staff is very friendly. I have yet to try their ice cream. I am really looking forward to that.

Thx to Yelp, I recently check this place out while I was in Kansas City for work. They had great reviews and just my luck. I have to show up on taco Tuesday! I had the three street tacos special, which was one Carnitas one chicken and one El Pastore, though you could make your choice between about six different selections. They have both a mild and a hot salsa, and bam that hot salsa is hot!! Like smack yo momma hot. Don't mess around w it...start slow. All three tacos I had were delicious and fresh! Glad I found this place and would come back again.

So this was a last minute audible and the street tacos were really good. I'm not usually a corn tortilla guy but these were great. Food came out pretty quick and service was good. I tried the mild and hot sauce and I will warn you, a little hot sauce goes a long way. It has great flavor but will get you if you're not careful. They also have a great selection of ice cream. I didn't try any this time but definitely have it on the list to go back and have some. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Arrived for a late lunch (2:00) and had the street tacos (three) with grilled chicken. Small, but that's a street taco, and delicious! My friend ordered the flautas with potatoes as a vegetarian option, with corn in a cup. She said the flautas lacked flavor but the corn in the cup was so tasty--I tried that and she was right! Kinda salty in my opinion, but good nonetheless. The folks taking our order and delivering our meals to the table were friendly. It was about what you'd expect for a restaurant--cozy, not too loud, bright inside and clean throughout. They had a couple big screen TVs.
